The separator performs spectacularly. Sand in our water well has always an issue to some degree. It produced just enough sand that when you would run a bath tub full and the let it settle before draining you could atleast feel a little sand if not see it to some degree. Occasionaly you would also notice a little grit while drinking a glass of the cool clear water. After installing the separator there has been absolutely NO sand detected in either of these situation. I can see the sand in the bottom of the separator that is a clear indication that it is working as expected. I am 110% satisfied and highly recommend the product. I had been looking at much more expensive commercial type models when I found R.C. Worst & Company version at a fraction of the cost so I decided to give it a shot and I can say that it was money very well spent. As a finally note I have been working in piping design for 30 years so I have had some experience with various piping inline devices and this one is top notch and for the money I don?t think it can be beat.
